Experimental Film Project Idea

Our idea is to show how a park changes from morning to night.

Audio:
The first minute of the piece will have sounds typically heard in the morning at a park (birds, ducks, leaves rustling). The first minute will be peaceful and slow paced. The second minute will be at midday where the park is most busy. This part of the piece will have the most sounds and will increase dramatically in volume. Here the sounds of people will fill the area, as well as loud sounds from a playground (swings, railings, see-saw). For  the last minute it will be nighttime. So the pace of the sounds will get slower. Sounds of traffic, drunks and club music can be heard from a distance.

Video:
We will be matching the audio with the video, by showing relevant video on screen which matches with the sound effect which is playing. The video (like the audio piece) will go from morning to nighttime. We will have various recording sessions where will will go to the park in the morning, afternoon or at nighttime so we can get a wide range of shots from different times of the day. The morning shots will be played in the first minute of the film. Afternoon shots will be in the second minute of the film, and dark nighttime shots will fill the last minute of the film.
